Arrived in the spectacular and wonderful country of Nepal yesterday, flying in past stunning views of the Himalayas. The mountains rise up to meet the plane inspiring old testament thoughts of the power and extent of God. Maybe attributes we occasionally under play in our friendly faith. I awake this morning in the roof-top spare room at Paul and Sarah's home to the usual domestic sounds of a culture where life is still lived largely outdoors, and a view of the crowded cityscape dominated by those mountains.
